On Nov. 7, 2016, Life Care Center of Rochester, Indiana, (with the help of Kindred Hospice and the local VFW) honored its veterans.
Residents at the skilled nursing and rehab center who had served in the U.S. armed forces received a certificate and a pin. Kindred Hospice employees read poems about the sacrifice not only of the soldiers but of their families as well.
Life Care Center of Rochester, Indiana, participated in the Ninth Annual Marshall County Senior Expo on Nov. 8, 2016.
The expo, which took place at The Zone Sports Complex of Northern Indiana in Plymouth, featured more than 60 vendors and brought in more than 1,500 local seniors. Life Care Center of Rochester provided free grip strength testing and education by the therapy department.
Life Care Center of Rochester, Indiana, held an antique toy show for its residents and the community on June 8, 2016.
The event marked the center’s combined celebration of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Six groups, a mixture of community businesses and facility associates, provided tables of toys from years gone by.
